Boozhoo (Hello) to everybody out there!!!  We at the Walpole Island Land Trust would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting our site and to thank all of our supporters out there who have helped us reach this ground breaking point.  We would especially like to thank all of our members, Don Gordon, the Thames Talbot Land Trust, The Walpole Island First Nation Community and Chief and Council, the Walpole Island Heritage Centre, Environment Canada-Ontario Region, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation. We are eternally grateful that all of you have shown such a heartwarming commitment to ensuring that the beauty that is found within Walpole Island First Nation Territoty continues to be here for all of the future generations to come.  This is such an exciting time for us as we are a very new organization and we are learning so much so quickly, but it is also really exciting because the possibilities are endless and we feel that we have a team and membership that is very passionate about conserving this land that we care so deeply for.  We are looking forward to doing great work now and into the future, and we are pleased and honoured to be able to invite you all along for the journey!!  Miigwech (thank you) to all of you!
